Professor Ir Ali Najah Ahmed Al Mahfoodh
Ali Najah Ahmed is a Professor at the School of Engineering and Technology, Sunway University. Ali is a prolific author with over 300 scientific articles published in journals. He is recognized as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) by the Engineering Council in the UK and as a Professional Engineer by The Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). Additionally, he serves as a member of editorial boards and guest editor for special issues for various journals. He has led numerous national and international research projects. Ali is also listed in Stanford University's 2022 and 2023 lists of the top 2% of scientists.

Dr Hadyan Hafizh
Dr Hadyan Hafizh is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Engineering and Technology, Sunway University. He obtained his PhD from Kyoto University and currently focuses on IoT and AI in the manufacturing industry. His research explores the convergence of operational and information technology in Industrial IoT, with interests in aerospace and civil engineering applications. Dr. Hafizh is a member of IEEE, a Registered Engineering Technologist with the Board of Engineers Malaysia, a Certified Internet of Things Specialist, and a Certified Data Science Specialist.

Associate Professor Dr Morteza Saberikamarposhti
Dr. Morteza SaberiKamarposhti is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), Sunway University, Malaysia. Also, he served as the Chairperson of the Research Center on Cybersecurity and Quantum Computing at Multimedia University (MMU). With a passion for cutting-edge technologies, He specializes in Cybersecurity, Quantum Computing, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Post-quantum cryptography. His work extends beyond traditional computing, exploring innovative applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in environmental science. As a leading researcher, He is committed to advancing the intersection of these fields to address complex challenges and drive technological innovation.

Dr Ahmad Sahban Rafsanjani
Dr. Ahmad Sahban Rafsanjani is the Programme Leader of the BSc (Hons) Information Technology (Computer Networking and Security) and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Smart Computing and Cyber Resilience, School of Computing and Artificial Intelligence, Sunway University. He holds a PhD in Network Security and a master鈥檚 degree in information security from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).
He leads initiatives on cybersecurity curriculum enhancement, industry collaborations, and student development at Sunway University, positioning himself at the forefront of cybersecurity education and innovation. He was recently awarded for Excellence in Enterprise and Innovation at Sunway University in recognition of his outstanding contributions to advancing cybersecurity education and engagement.
His research interests include network security, blockchain, cryptography, IoT security, and threat intelligence, and he has published extensively in top-tier journals and conference proceedings. Also, he is a Senior Member of IEEE, a member of the IEEE Computer Society, and a member of the ACM.

Professor M A Hannan
Dr M A Hannan is graduated from National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2007. Currently, he is a full Professor at the School of Engineering and Technology, Sunway University, Malaysia. Prior to Sunway University, he was a full Professor in Universiti Tenaga Nasional and the National University of Malaysia, respectively. He is appointed as Coordinating Lead Author (CLA) of UN IPCC AR7 (2025-2029), WGIII (Mitigation of Climate Change) for Chapter 11 (Transport and mobility services and systems).
His research interests and skills are on the development of intelligent systems in energy and power applications. He has supervised 60+ research post-graduates, secured total funding worth of RM 26.87M as CI and PI. He is awarded as a Highly Cited Researcher 2022 & 2023 in Engineering by Clarivate Analytics which is truly 1 in 1000 (0.1%) world鈥檚 scientist and one of the world's best scientists in Electronics and Electrical Engineering under research.com. He is also awarded as No. 1 Scientist in the field of 鈥淓ngineering鈥 among all researchers in Malaysia鈥檚 private higher education institutions based on the World鈥檚 Top 2% Scientists. Award graced by The Honourable Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato鈥 Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim.
Professor Ker Pin Jern
Dr. Ker, Pin Jern is a Professor in the School of Engineering & Technology, Sunway University, Malaysia. He is a project leader or member of various government and industrial research projects, with a total amount of > RM 20 million. He has published >110 journal papers (WoS-indexed Q1 & Q2) and >60 Scopus / WoS (Q3 & Q4) indexed journal papers. His research interests are the application of artificial intelligence and development of intelligent system for energy-related applications, such as renewable energy and energy storage system. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng.) and is awarded as the World鈥檚 Top 2% most-cited scientists for the years 2022 and 2023.

Associate Professor Ts. Dr Farihahusnah Hussin
Farihahusnah Hussin received her Bachelor鈥檚 degree in chemical engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia in 2008. Her then moved to University of Malaya, Malaysia and completed her Master of Engineering Science in 2014. Her thesis focused on the modification and characterisation of bleaching clay for enhancement of their adsorption capacity in palm oil physical refining. Afterwards, she continued her PhD study in Chemical Engineering at the University of Malaya. Her research focused on wastewater treatment using renewable energy. She started working at Research Centre for Carbon Dioxide Capture and Utilisation (CCDCU), Sunway University, Malaysia as a Research Fellow since June 2018 and become a Senior Research Fellow in 2022.
Her recent research activities include: 1) Biomass conversion technology, 2) CO2 capture and utilization technology (adsorption process and electrochemical), 3) Green solvents (deep eutectic solvents), 4) life cycle assessment (LCA) and environmental impacts, 5) water and wastewater treatment. Over the years her research was focused on environmental engineering-based projects. She has more than twenty published articles in ISI-indexed journals, and she has presented papers in national and international conferences and seminars as invited speakers and oral presenters. She has more than 594 citations with h-index of 9 in Google Scholar. Since 2018, She has been extensively involved in 6 research projects funded by Sunway University. She is currently supervising 1 PhD student as co-supervisor and 6 final year students as main/co-supervisor. She is also an active reviewer of high impact factor journals such as Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering and Chemosphere. She is a Professional Technologists of Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT), Malaysia. She is also the member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), Associate Member of the IChemE and member of American Chemical Society (ACS).
Dr Dalila Alias
Dr Dalila is a Ph.D. holder in Nanotechnology and a Chemical Engineering degree. Her specialization lies in the intersection of rubber recycling, biomass research, and nanotechnology, where she has demonstrated a commitment to advancing sustainable technologies. Her research contributions include studies in rubber recycling methods, innovative approaches to biomass utilization, and the application of nanotechnology in engineering solutions. This dual experience in research and engineering positions her as a versatile professional capable of bridging theoretical knowledge with practical applications, and she is eager to bring her diverse skill set to contribute to cutting-edge projects and advancements in engineering and sustainability.
